Since its inception in 1974, the company has gained
confidence from the domestic construction
industry by faithfully carrying out construction work
and made inroads into Saudi Arabia in 1983.
Seokwang has accumulated wide experience in overseas construction
ranging from Peace Sun
(¥±) Housing construction to Signal Center and School (Electric
Part) construction in 1986.
In addition, the company has received many awards and
appreciation plaques from ordering entities and the government
by successfully improving the management system of each
spot in the country based on the new construction method
of advanced foreign countries, quality control and process
control. In 1998, on the opening of China¡¯s construction
market, Seokwang opened a liaison office in Cheongdo.
Since that time, it has performed activities to make inroads
into the Chinese markets.
In 2002, the company made inroads into the Middle East
(Saudi Arabia) as well as Southeast Asia,established a
branch office, and opened an electric communication construction
spot.
Several negotiations are underway.
In addition, Seokwang is in negotiation with several South
Asian countries. Since 1999, the
company has opened and completed 12 spots as of the end
of May 2003 including Repair of
Transformers Open Type(¥±) O - San Air Base, CCK construction
of the US Armed Forces in
Korea, its first construction work. In 2002, the company
registered as a comprehensive
construction industry with FED and put its best efforts
to receive orders.
